This page informs you of the policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use this service.

Summary

Data is stored on your google sheet, and only on your google sheet.

The data necessary to calculate the multipliers is transmitted by https for calculation of the multipliers to an API hosted on a google server.

This includes the details entered in the sidebar except that the names of the claimants are hashed before they are sent to the google cloud function.

No data is retained on that or any other machine. It is destroyed as soon as the calculation is returned.

Personal Data

If you decide to license the software, your email will be stored by William Chapman as a digital record that you have licensed the software. It will be used for no other purpose than licensing.

The data necessary to calculate the multipliers is sent to the google cloud function https://europe-west2-ogden8.cloudfunctions.net/ogden-1 operated by William Chapman. The data is sent securely over the https protocol. The result is returned securely the same way. The data is not stored and is destroyed as soon as the result is returned. As indicated by the url, the cloud function is hosted on servers in Western Europe i.e. within the EU.

The data sent includes the date of birth of the claimant and all the information entered in the sidebar except that the names of the claimants are hashed before they are sent to the google cloud function.

The claimant's state pension age is obtained from the government website, https://www.gov.uk/state-pension-age . Only the claimant's date of birth is sent to this website. The data is sent, and the result returned, securely over https.
